At the UN climate conference a group from CFACT were able to convince quite a few man made climate change UN delegates from various countries to try on a mask and commit to wearing a mask that captures CO2 from your breath.
The mask looks like something you would wear mowing your lawn or while painting a house. The mask is very intrusive and would be quite uncomfortable to wear to bed and in many other settings.
The idea of using the mask on your pets and other such bizarre suggestions were also considered by the UN delegates. The whole thing was a punked type setup but it makes a hilarious point at the same time.
These elite supposed smart individuals are more like followers in this man made climate change debate than being actual leaders. These delegates are simply pawns in the grand scheme of this while Al Gore relaxes in his new $9 million house that uses the same amount of electricity as an entire working class neighborhood. He purchased this house in the luxurious hills of Montecito, CA with the money he has made from investments opened up to him from his Cap and Trade legislation.
So what about the claim that “98% of all scientists believe in global warming”, is this true because it sure sounds smart and true. This came from a very widely over-used 2009 American Geophysical Union (AGU) survey consisting of an intentionally brief two-minute, two question online survey sent to 10,257 earth scientists. This survey qualified these scientists down to 75 people who answered “yes” to the 2nd question in the survey. There were only 77 who had been successful in getting more than half of their papers recently accepted by peer-reviewed climate science journals, that were considered in their survey statistic. That “98% all scientists” often claimed is actually a puny number of 75 of those 77 who answered “yes” to that 2nd survey question.
Since 1998, more than 31,000 American scientists from many climate-related areas of study, which makes up more than 9,000 with Ph.D.s, have signed a public petition presenting their side of the story which is that “…there is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse gases is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth’s atmosphere and disruption of the Earth’s climate.” Among the scientists that did this petition there are atmospheric physicists, botanists, geologists, oceanographers, and meteorologists.
The cap and trade legislation is acting like a slush fund for politicians to take this money and spend it on whatever whenever as they please which they are doing right now with social security, Obamacare, and many other promised programs that were set aside for one purpose and then used for something else. More disturbing than the slush fund is the billions of dollars quietly being sent over to the UN by America.
Electricity rates will go up because of this man made climate change lunacy and the higher prices you pay have hidden taxes, pass through charges, etc. that ultimately find there way back to the liberal politicians we voted into office for their spending pleasure. They will call it cap and trade and necessary for reducing man made global warming but it will not be all used for that purpose which makes you wonder if some of these guys even believe in what they are preaching. It’s no surprise that we have seen our very own politicians invest in multiple solar companies tied to some of these climate change initiatives only to watch the executives make a fortune and the companies to go out of business. Al Gore has been the direct recipient on the profiting end of many of these government backed investments. Solyndra is one of hundreds of examples of this scam running throughout the US government.
I am not saying that we shouldn’t reduce pollution in the form of coal generation polluting the air with led, unsafe nuclear facilities, recycling, and other pragmatic ways of truly helping our environment in a real provable way. All this attention on man made climate change is a scam and hurting the real environmental movements out there that truly seek to make the earth a cleaner healthier place.
