At Oxford University an interesting experiment was performed on some humans that involved electricity and their brains!

That’s right, they decided to shock people with electricity in the head while they performed mathematical exercises.

The scientists wanted to do a real verifiable study so they didn’t just do this on one person but on 51 students. The electrical current was only a light one so no one felt a jolt.

While these students underwent mathematical training along with electrical brain therapy they were much more capable of remembering new sums, recalling times tables faster and other math tasks compared to those who did not go through the therapy.

One interesting side effect was the ability to calculate sums about 30 % quicker and this same result was the same when they were retested 6 months later.

So if you feel you have limited mathematical abilities like I do myself then start looking for a helmet looking device on eBay that can send some light electrical impulses through your brain.

Seriously don’t go and do that, I am only joking. This research does offer someone like me some promising therapy in the future for when I can finally say I passed pre-calculus.

This therapy may provide a safe and affordable solution to improve people’s math with little other methods needed. If it can work on University guinea pigs it must be able to work on someone like me.

Dr Roi Cohen Kadosh, of Oxford University’s department of experimental psychology truly believes they are on to something here so look out world we may see an army of students wearing electrodes on their heads in the future.

Think about this for a minute. This experiment only lasted 5 days but with it the students received long-lasting improvements in cognitive and brain functions.

Electricity obviously plays a tremendous role in how smart people are and with an added jolt for those people who don’t generate as much electrical brain impulses we could eliminate the 1 in 5 statistic of those who struggle with basic arithmetic.

In summary we are finding ways to awaken the part of the brain that is almost dead for some people. Scientists don’t really know why the therapy works but they believe it may be increasing the supply of oxygen and nutrients to the brain.

Don’t try this experiment at home but FYI the participants were given 45 minutes of math training and 20 minutes of electrical stimulation to the part of the brain involved in mathematical processing.

The jump in learning was about 5 times faster when it came to times-tables and about twice as quick at learning arithmetic.

Questions abound about if it is ethical or cheating but if it is available for anyone to use than scientists believe that it’s going to be okay.

Most countries have a new goal in mind for electricity. Around the world countries are expecting to be able to store electricity to use during peak demand times which is a new concept as around the world we currently rely on a real-time electric grid.

We generate our electricity the same time we need it. We literally power on natural gas and hydro plants during peak periods during the day as demand rises. We supply the energy we need so no one has a blackout or brownout during the day.

For appliances batteries work great but for storing the massive amount of energy we need for on-demand electricity for business in home use batteries are toxic and way too expensive for this purpose.

A new concept that makes the most sense when looking at all the alternatives is to store electricity at the bottom of the sea.

Basically the way this would work is as if you were to open a hatch to a submarine deep in the ocean. The water would come into the hatch with insane force which provides the energy potential needed to create a source for storing energy.

A company called Subhydro AS will be exploiting the pressure of the seabed by implementing a patented process to make this a reality.

The company has worked out a partnership agreement with SINTEF. This organization is the largest independent research organisation in Scandinavia.

SINTEF creates value through knowledge generation, research and innovation, and develops technological solutions that are brought into practical use.

The mechanical energy is converted at the seabed by a reversible pump turbine as is the case with a normal pumped storage hydroelectric plant.

In this type of seabed pumped storage power plant turbine you will have a depth of anywhere from 400 – 800 metres. The further depth the better the results.

The turbine will have a valve that can be open and closed. When the valve is opened water flows in and the turbine begins to turn. As the water lows in the turbine drives a generator that produces electricity.

There can be as many tanks connected to this system as needed which allows for an unlimited amount of time this plant can generate electricity as needed.

The energy storage capacity of this system is only limited by the amount of tanks that are connected to it.

What makes this technology worthy of mentioning is that it has a high level of efficiency compared to other competing technologies.

You may be asking, “What do you do once all the water tanks are full?” You simply run the turbine in reverse so that it works like a pump.

There is a little more energy that is used up in the process of removing the water than the energy used in taking in water but it isn’t much.

When comparing this battery system with a similar type on-shore system you find that the efficiency is the same.

According to studies the round trip efficiency is about 80 %. A typical plant they plan to build would produce 300 megawatts for a period of 7-8 hours which could power 200,000 homes with electricity for that amount of time.

This seabed battery could work very well with solar and wind farms in providing the needed backup power when the wind turbines are not spinning and the sun is not shining allowing for a truly off-grid 100 % renewable power grid.

With this you could get constant power coming into a city running totally on solar power even when it is night.

The company has its eyes on Norway because the deeper and closer to shore you can have these things the more they work. Norway has a deep seabed close to shore which would offer the best return on investment.

You would not get the same type of profitability with this seabed technology in Germany because the sea is too shallow. Other areas of interest for them are in Italy, Portugal, and Spain as well as North and South America.

The company is still refining the type of reinforced concrete they will use for the tanks. They need a good mix between strong and light weight concrete to be most effective and to keep costs down.

Right now the best idea has been to reinforce the concrete used to make the tanks with small steel fibers but this process is still be studied and improved upon.

In summary, this has been one of the most promising ideas I have heard of for storing and generating electricity and look forward to seeing it working live in the near future.

They have just done this by injecting fluorescent dye into solar panels.

So what’s the catch? I was looking for the catch because that is a darn right big number and definitely helps in slashing the cost per square foot of solar panels.

Scientists at Yale actually coated the panels with fluorescent dye but I said injecting because it sounds a bit more like mad science.

Polymer solar cells are great because they are flexible, cheap, and thin but they only convert about 50 % of solar heat into electricity.

This has all changed because when coating the cells with dye they all the sudden compete with the more expensive panels but their benefits remain the same.

Scientifically what is happening when the dye is applied is that the organic squaraine dye increases light absorption and recycles electrons, which speeds up the light to energy conversion process.

This new technology will be used in the production of future solar cells and if your interested in learning more about it you can find the entire research article in the Nature Photonics journal.

 Tweet This Post

Located on the outskirts of Dallas, Carrolton was established in 1878, and has a population of about 125,595 and of these people all have a choice in electric companies they choose. Of course, children ask your parents before changing your electric provider.

Like its surrounding cities and towns, its only energy provider was once TXU because what was at one time known as TU electric was broken up into 3 companies when Texas deregulated in 2002.

When you choose a cheaper provider you are still getting your electric service from a generation plant that you likely have always used. To help make sense of how this works consider that you have always had one electric line coming to your house and that my friends will never change.

In Texas the electric grid is a real-time grid which means all power that comes over the electric line to your house was just generated a few minutes before being utilized by your air conditioner and appliances.

This real-time grid means that the Electric Reliability Council of Texas closely estimates what the next days power needs will be and kicks on enough generation plants to make sure every home and business gets the power they need.

It’s amazing how efficiently our electric grid runs with very few outages or brownouts. It’s important for you to know that even though you will always receive the same power from the same generation facilities you can still shop for a cheaper rate.

Multiple companies compete by buying power as a commodity via a trade. These companies hedge their prices and break up all that energy for residential and commercial customers they sell to.

Some retail providers are much better at buying low and selling you cheap power and others aren’t nearly as good at it.

In summary, it is always to the consumers advantage to use a site like this compare electric prices and companies and choose the best rate. Our tool at the top is where you begin. Please enter your zip code and click on compare and you will begin your search for a cheaper electricity bill.

Now residents can choose from the best electric rates and companies by comparing them right here. For more information, call 1-800-971-4020.

After years of Germany’s Angela Merkel relying on Chairman Schellnhuber to forecast the future Armageddon of the earth via man-made global warming she has finally decided to hopefully kick his keester out of the advisory council.

The problem is the damage is already done because even in the face of economic disaster related to Germany’s major investments in solar they listened to this activist advisory board instead and continued to shovel more money into green technology.

The junior partner of Angela Merkel’s coalition government has decided to block re-appointment of Professor Hans-Joachim Schellnhuber as the chairman of the German Advisory Council on Global Change for another 4 year term.

The WBGU directly consults Chancellor Angela Merkel on issues related to environment and climate world wide disaster. There are 10 people on this board and all of them are leaders in their various fields.

The FDP party, which is the coalition partner of Merkel’s government are not content any longer with the prophetic incites coming out of the WBGU advisory council.

With never ending alarmist remarks about sea level rises and glaciers completely melting off the face of mountains because of CO2 emissions the German government has finally conceded these prophetic announcements very well may not be true at all.

Germany’s green industry collapse is moving faster than most ever anticipated, and has the media reversing positions and even hiding archived news stories exclaiming the virtues of man-made global warming theory. It’s no wonder the German government is now moving against their activist climate science board.

Even now the German solar industry is dissolving faster than you can even see. 1/3rd of all solar businesses disappeared in a year. Solar subsidies of 100 billion euros and more [$130 billion] over 20 years have led to hardly anything of value. As of today there are barely 6000 employees in the German solar cell and module production.

Germany is now building 6 new coal power plants and stopping neighboring countries from dumping intermittent renewable energy into their grid which continues to show a shift away from these WBGU advisory scientists absurd claims about the demise of the earth due to CO2.

Instead of going with the current board of lunatic mad scientists the FDP party wants to see some fresh faces along with fresh ideas. Instead of having an advisory panel that seem to do nothing more than offer up naive plans that make no economic or scientific sense they hope for some common sense critically thought out solutions.

The amount of clear activistism based mad science has shown a pattern over the years with dogmatism and no sense of reality dominating the ideas that influenced the Merkel government.

Professor Schellnhuber has even gone so far as to say in a sad demeanor that the earth would explode if the world population reached 9 billion and that the earth can really only hold less than 1 billion people.

In further talks with Merkel’s government you find where Schellhnhuber and his group of mad scientists had firmly decided that CO2 was going to warm the planet by 6 degrees Celcius by 2100 unless the government implemented their recommendations on drastic reductions in CO2 levels.

In a master plan given out to the German government the advisory board decided the earth needed a more authoritarian global government and a marginalization of climate science dissidents and skeptics.

His ideal would be that citizens and society would sit and listen to these scientists give their far out predictions on what people would do to the earth via CO2 emissions as well as policies that would be enacted and be powerless to do anything about it.

Prof. Hans von Storch admitted that these advisers had indeed taken on the role of prophets.

There was even a far out claim made by Schellnhuber where he declared that Himalayan glaciers would melt by 2035.

The main problem this advisory board has caused for Germany is the severe energy inflation consumers and industrial businesses have felt.

Once the energy inflation reached epic proportions of 24 cents per kilowatt hour to run electricity in your home it did nothing to stop further activist behavior by the board.

Rather than putting a halt to further green moves that cause energy prices to rise which have really hurt the consumer Schellnhuber and his WBGU demanded the government look past economics and push the green initiative even further.

At this point the advisory council seemed to have no sense of pragmatic level headedness about the practicalities of modern life and more common sense ways to clean up the environment.

One of the more absurd episodes of the WBGU happened when a recent comic book publication was issued for kids that was 140 pages in length showing Schellnhuber and his WBGU colleagues as environmental heroes rescuing the planet from greenhouse gases.

The comic book even showed those who released CO2 in the atmosphere as villains that had to be handled.

With no more ability at being rational the WBGU released propaganda comic books, prophetic claims about the earth, glaciers, sea level rises, and criticizing Merkel directly they seem to have put themselves in a place where the government is set to gladly kick them out of their ivory tower once and for all.

What these problems with these activist scientists and his group with the WBGU boils down to is overselling their science to such a degree that it has done way more harm for true environmentalism than it has to actually help the real pragmatic cause people genuinely desire to do which is to keep the earth clean of pollution.

Spiegel has named a list of acclaimed scientists who are very critical of Schellnhuber and his activism. With this recent blocked appointment of Schellnhuber there has been praise from the skeptic side and anger from the man-made warmist side.

It’s not decided yet if Schellnhuber will get the boot from the Merkel government but even if that doesn’t happen there should be some new faces with some differing ideas than what we currently see on the board.

In summary, Germany has really led the way with carbon credits, solar and wind subsidies in hopes of reducing CO2 emissions but all it has done is permanently wreck the German economy and its consumers.

As you see the tide shifting from these radical ways to more pragmatic solutions we can only hope that the U.S. will look to this as an example and shift to more pragmatic solutions instead of continuing to fund companies like Solyndra, Fisker, FirstSolar, and other failures at the expense of the tax payer.

Quantum mechanics has recently been discussed as a possible answer to our commercial business problems when it comes to securing our business communications.

In the case of the electric grid it is currently being implemented as a way to impede Chinese hackers from taking down our electric infrastructure in one efficient lethal blow.

We often talk about this science as what will be the answer to our ever increasing computing power needs but this science could be used even sooner for such things as commercial communications.

Quantum mechanics provides a mathematical description of much of the dual particle-like and wave-like behavior and interactions of energy and matter.

A company called GridCom Technologies is working to make essential electric grid infrastructure secure by encrypting that data sent over grid control systems.

What would normally be encrypted using mathematical algorithms now uses quantum physics.

At such low latency speeds that you have with electric grid technology it doesn’t allow for traditional methods of encryption to work. Because of the problem hurdle of low latency it renders electric grid controls vulnerable to hacker attacks.

By using optical technology GridCom can generate two photons that is done through a laser and moves through optical fiber cables. Within these photons there are opposite polarization’s which allow for waves oscillating up and down as well as left and right.

If a hacker, for instance, tried to measure one of these photons it would change the state of the other photon which would show the security system that the photons are no longer entangled and would immediately alert the administrator that a message has been intercepted.

The phenomenal difference between this encryption system and modern day versions is that instead of using mathematics to encrypt this is done purely with physics.

Electric grid operators will be able to use this technology to encrypt data as well as verify if a message has been captured or tampered with. This new form of encryption has the advantage of being light years ahead of mathematical encryption which can be hacked and is simply not future proof.

The key for this encryption system working on electric grids is its ability to work quickly which is critical for SCADA systems (industrial control systems such as an electric grid operator).

By leveraging a random bit stream with no data latency you allow the electric grid to have a hack proof data communications system which is ultimately all the grid needs.

In summary this would be implemented within 16 mile distances from each hardware receiver connected by physical fiber cable and would address some main security deficiencies of the electric grid but certainly not all of them. You can find examples of this encryption technique used within certain government agencies that communicate in a closed internet network but possibly one day this could be what the modern day internet user uses to communicate with other users.

No that picture is not Jimmy Carter but Texan, T. Boone Pickens, the natural gas king of Texas. Pickens has an answer to America’s energy crisis during a recent TED talk.

Why are our electricity prices, gasoline prices, natural gas prices, and basically all our energy prices cheaper than they are in Europe?

The reason they are cheaper is because we have such a huge stockpile of American based fossil fuel energy that the imports simply represent a way for us to stockpile even more of our own resources.

Even still our prices could be much lower but we refuse to back off of OPEC oil but instead allow our enemy to become rich in the process.

T. Boone Pickens out of Texas is most recently known for his plan to build a huge West Texas wind mill farm that connects to some of his natural gas power generation plants.

Since wind mill farms must rely on back up power from natural gas it made perfect sense to Pickens to create a large wind farm that connects to his natural gas power and then send all this power across the state into North Texas.

What ended up happening was that Pickens could not find a way to make wind power affordable enough to justify the enormous cost of building and maintaining these gigantic eyesores and so ultimately the large investment in windmills was scrapped at $150 million price tag.

You can’t say he didn’t try to make wind energy work because he blew quite a bit of money on the project.

Pickens is a proud believer in man made global warming but what he is more concerned about is our problem of strengthening our enemy by buying mideastern OPEC oil.

in 1912 America decided to choose crude oil and coal over the dirtier whale oil. Now Pickens sees a new decision point in history.

He wants America to make a drastic change from oil which costs 3 trillion dollars a year in which 1 trillion goes to OPEC.

He believes we should make a choice to go with American natural gas and reject buying OPEC oil to safeguard the U.S. national security.

Because we are buying so much OPEC oil we have basically caused a historical transfer of wealth to the mideast which in turn causes a cycle in which we are policing the world because of it.

Did you know there are only 12 aircraft carriers in the world and 11 belong to the U.S.? Of these carriers, 5 are tied up in the mideast.

The purpose of the carriers is to insure the shipping lanes stay open and oil is readily available when we need it.

The U.S. uses 25 % of the worlds oil and of this 70 % is used for transportation. The problem with solar and wind is that 70 % is for transportation which cannot utilize wind or solar effectively.

Pickens explains that we must address energy for transportation to stop our reliance on OPEC oil. Pickens explains that natural gas is 25 % cleaner than oil at a 130 octane and is simple to use without the need for a refinery.

Natural gas is cleaner and can be used directly in our vehicles for immediate cleaner energy in the U.S. environment and also allows us to avoid the reliance we have on OPEC oil.

One immediate answer is to retrofit the large trucks that drive on our interstate highways. There are 8 million trucks on our highways that if we used natural gas we could cut our imports yearly by 3 million barrels or a 60 % decrease in reliance on OPEC.

If you look at the natural gas we have in the U.S. we have quite a bit more than the total amount of oil they have in the mideast.

It costs the U.S. a billion dollars a day for oil but that cost could be dramatically dropped simply by starting with the retrofit to the 8 million trucks on our highways.

Pickens lost 150 million on his windmill farm idea. He explains you cannot do a wind farm deal with natural gas under $6 mmbtu.

He has now modified his plan to start with retrofitting 18-wheelers on the highway and believes this fuel will be what he calls a “bridge fuel” to the eventual reliance on solar and wind renewable energy as it comes down in price.

He admits that solar and wind will always remain a very small part of total world energy use even out into the future and he asks future minds to come up with a solution to make solar and wind a viable energy solution.

He lost $150 million on wind trying to make that work and he explains that it just doesn’t work at this time in history and until it does natural gas is where we need to be headed for electricity generation, car transportation and trucking.

In summary, even though he makes his money in natural gas he has a very sensible approach that solves many problems in the process instead of creating so many as we have seen with this Administrations blunders with solar, wind, and electric cars. Do I have to name Fisker (bankrupt), SunPower, Solyndra(bankrupt) and Beacon as just a few examples of wasted tax payer dollars.

The glowing plant project is a new unique idea created by Stanford students in which by gene manipulation students want to make plants naturally grow to light a city.

The idea is to replace traditional lighting such as lighting done by incandescent and LED light bulbs with a glowing plant.

The project will start off with creating small glowing plants that each person who decides to back them will receive.

The small glowing plants will be a representation of things to come as their science delves in to the complexities of making things like large trees glow, etc.

Wouldn’t it be neat to have glowing trees and flowers in your yard? The only downside to a glowing tree and plants is that you can’t exactly turn the thing off.

As far as controversy regarding plant gene manipulation I can attest to the fact that this is nothing new. Just do a search for Monsanto and you will see a huge movement of people against this company for plant gene modifications.

Modifying the genes of plants has been going for awhile now and many people absolutely hate the idea because the claim is that the gene modified plants that give us our food also give us illnesses and kill the bees we need to pollinate our planet.

If we did have large glowing trees, flowers, grass, etc. would this further hurt the honey bee population that seems to be dwindling in numbers possibly due to plant gene manipulation?

A lot of these questions about the detrimental effects of plant gene modification are still up for debate but even still I do like the idea of a glow in the dark tree in my backyard.

This new kickstarter project promises to reward those who back the project with the opportunity to be among the first to have a glow in the dark plant when these Stanford students have them available.

You can learn more about this project by watching their video below:

There is a place in France called the Cadarache forest that sits up on a hilltop in the south of France. Here a top this mound is a secret energy project that got under way all the way back in the 1920′s.

The nations collaborated together eventually to what we have now which is 34 countries working together to invent a commercially viable fusion power reactor.

The project was declassified in September of 1958 and now the project has much public interest. Even with a cost of $20 billion many of us anxiously await what could be the final solution to world energy.

With fusion power scientists are basically trying to create energy in the same way that the sun generates its energy. The reactor basically would take in 50 mw of electricity and generate 500 mw of heat.

If your wondering about harmful bi-products like in the case of the Japanese nuclear meltdown there really are none. The only bi-product would be helium which can be captured and used in other industrial processes. It is a colorless, odorless, tasteless, non-toxic, inert, and is the second most abundant element in the observable universe.

The only worry with helium is that it might make you talk funny if you inhale it through a balloon.

This very important long costly experiment represents the biggest scientific collaboration on earth next to the International Space Station.

ITER stands for International Nuclear Fusion Project and means “the way” in Latin. This is a new type of nuclear reactor in that it can generate unlimited quantities of inexpensive, green, safe, earth friendly electric power from a process called atomic fusion.

The ITER project itself will only be creating a very large experiment that feasibly could be used as a commercial energy reactor but they are strictly allowing it only to generate electricity in an experimental setting to prove it can be done safely.

The expectation is that the world will soon go through a three-fold increase in energy demand in which a thing like the fusion reactor would solve this predicted crisis if it even really exists.

This week the scientists signed off on the design of the most technically complicated part of the project – the fusion reactor’s “blanket” which will hold and move along the super-heated nuclear fuel.

Another leap forward for the project happened this week as well where over 493 large as a house rectangular rubber and cement plinths have been sent in the reactor’s deep foundations to protect the experiment against earthquake related catastrophe.

If you were in the building that houses this humongous reactor you could actually still see these large rectangular bearings as you look over the edge of the isolation pit. These bearings will soon have tons of reinforced concrete poured on top of the bearings which will ultimately hold up the enormous fusion machine which is at the very center of the $20 billion fusion project.

Millions of the fusion reactor parts are being built all over the world and quite a few of the individual parts are as big as a house. Once the parts arrive they will be moved into the ITER building and be put together like gigantic legos.

It will take about 5 years for all of these millions of components to get to Cadarache site and so the anticipation among those who follow fusion energy will only be building until then.

In summary the project is expensive and huge in scale considering the building that houses it is the same size as 81 Olympic-sized swimming pools and it uses it’s own currency just to fairly divide up the cost among member nations.

Over the next few years about a million individual components of the highly complex fusion reactor will arrive at the Cadarache site from around the world. They will be assembled like a giant Lego model in a nearby building. The design approval for the blanket that holds the super-heated nuclear fuel and the large as a house rubber and cement bearings is the latest move forward for the project and one of the most important. The reactor should be completed by 2019 and you will likely see the $20 billion price tag go up by quite a bit until then.

The government has been hard at work the last few years in pushing man made global warming, the carbon tax, and along with it many different green energy initiatives.

They have yet to pass a global warming carbon tax on the power plants, citizens, and industries but they have it in the agenda.

Among all the things that they still want to do they have been successful at promoting and subsidizing green energy projects.

Global warming is not as popular and so with it and the much anticipated carbon tax we have seen a dramatic shift among the media and politicians in backing far away from this bad science.

With new data out that shows the earth has been cooling over the last 16 years scientists are admitting to mistakes and the media is suspiciously silent on the matter.

There are several government backed solar and wind farms that have cropped up around the country and many of these are quite impressive, so is it all that bad if we have solar and wind now?

The lie of man made global warming allowed many politicians to get the public support they needed to get these very expensive inferior technological solar and wind plants built.

The main problem with these renewable energy projects is that the government routinely picks inferior technology and subsidizes the heck out of the projects without letting the citizenry know this.

You will hear things like that solar is now at parity with fossil fuel created electric power and other such nonsense but this is not even close to the truth.

When you add in all the costs associated with solar and wind power your unsubsidized cost for power is around 16 cents per kilowatt hour.

It’s not that I hate solar and wind but I in fact love both ideas. I simply also like crunching numbers to a project and staying on budget and of course no government corruption in the process.

The wind farms that have been built with a big push from government via crony capitalism and huge subsidies generate ridiculously expensive electricity.

If you look at some private yet smaller localized wind farms you find a different story. Citizens who used more efficient technology for local power actually live off the grid and pay less for electricity service without government help.

In some cases, wind energy has proven an economical investment when done without government political pushes such as when Valero installed a massive wind farm at its refinery in Texas that generates enough electricity for the entire complex.

Furthermore, equipment used to run Marcellus Shale gas runs off solar power and was a completely private enterprise and they also made it work. These two companies invested in the renewable technology because it was economical not because the U.S. government said so or teased them with incentives.

There are some horrible projected yearly losses in Massachusetts where for instance Princeton Power and Light has lost 2 million on their wind project and the estimate is about $600,000 a year for the foreseeable future.

These losses don’t even take into account repair costs, which can be very significant where a single gear box replacement can be $600,000.

Most of these wind farm turbine warranty’s in Massachusetts have expired and there are no extended warranty options.

As you can see I believe renewable energy is cost effective when you crunch the numbers per project, take out government subsidies, include all repair costs and you find yourself coming out ahead.

A drilling project way off-grid that needs power obviously could use some solar or wind power. When solar and wind gets more affordable it can be used more often in the U.S. power grid power generation plants and save money but even then you must still account for backup power using fossil fuels when wind is not blowing and sun is not shining.

In summary, the government needs to back off when it comes to essential services like electricity. The whole reason the government got behind these technologies was because of man made global warming which does not exist.

Germany has already gone all in on solar and they pay 24 cents per kilowatt hour for their electricity and yet it barely makes a dent in CO2 emissions.

So who is teaching the government to back off, their little man made global warming lies are catching up to them and likely doing it all for us.
