Natural Gas Spot Prices June 2007

Natural Gas Spot Prices

Natural gas prices rose on May 23 2007 up 25 cents per MMBtu in most market locations while in the midcontinent region they dropped about the same amount. The prices were $7.71 MMBtu on Wednesday and as of Monday June 4 2007 they are at $8.19 MMBtu up .48 cents MMBtu. This huge increase does not make well for electricity rates in Texas which are already high and correlate closely with natural gas.
